*sigh* i really wish it wouldn't do stuff like that.
but i really should tell you about the game....
it's a pretty cool game, all around. the main stoy line is interesting and hidden enough that you actually have to play the game. i've played some games where you start it, get done with the first two levels and go, 'well, that was fun. but i know that blah blah blah.' and you can tell someone what the entire game is about.
there are also about 20+ sub plots that dont affect the main story line but do give you some cool items. and experiance, of course.
there are LOTS of weapons and armor combinations, and you have the ability to upgrade/modify them to suit your abilitues and mission.
the profile selector is almost rediculously modifiable, from choosing you gender, to adding scars if you wish. you can choose and alter your face type, mouth, eyes and hair. or you can just use the preset people for your character.
the game hic-ups sometimes, but that's probably has something to do with the 30-40 different planets, stars and systems you can interact with. oh, and the aforementioned armor and weapons, of which there's probably about a billion combinations.
if you've ever played KOR, it's kind of like that, and the same people made it. in fact, the game reminds me of a cross between KOR, Halo, and a litte bit of Fable thrown in.
there are six different characters that you can choose two of for any given 'away mission'. depending on the objective, your choice can either help you, hurt you, or provide hours of entertainement (Tali, the Quarian, and Garrus, the Turian will have you cracking up for hours when they get together). the characters themselves are well developed, with a history and everything.
the game in general is amazingly detailed, not only in apperance, but it history, quirks and options. for instance, the diologe, which there is quite a lot of, can get you different information and places depending on what you ask, say or accuse. different diologe options become avalible the higher you rise and the more Paragon (good guy) or Renegade (bad guy) points you have.
the combat functions aren't that hard to get used to, so you end up doing quite a bit of damage. another cool function, is taht every person comes with an assault rifle, a pistol, a shot gun and a sniper rifle. you have to be careful who you give what, however; Garrus is narutally more proficient with the sniper rifle and pistol, but in penalty, he sucks at shot guns.
pretty much, the game rocks and you should buy it. i am SO glad they're making two more.
