So I'm thinking about starting an art "series" of doing eyes of the animal totems most important to me. I started off with my animal first: Sumatran TigerNext in the list should be:
Lion
Bald Eagle
Beluga Whale
Mustang
From there I don't know what...

Yeah, it's Prismacolor pencils, which are more waxy than regular pencils, so they blend much nicer. Under that I used black cardstock paper. The difference between using white cardstock and black cardstock is finding where the light is when using black, and finding where the shadows are when it's white. :3

Thank you! I loved doing this picture with all it's different colors. I used black cardstock instead of standard white printing paper, and, WOW, it's a totally different medium. I will definitely be using it more often!
