Description I feel that this is borderline pornographic..

I consider myself to be either androgynous, for I don't have a 'set' "gender" - I equally fit in to each of the two gender's stereotypes (look-wise), however personality-wise, I'm equally not associated with either "gender". Either androgynous, or "bi-gendered", ..the observer can really have their pick. It matters not to me, for I don't believe in the stereotypes of pre-assigned genders at all!
I always like to bring up the 'fact' that society puts forth.. "Girls like barbies, and boys like hot-wheels." What's there to say about the kids that're building nuclear reactors? What's their gender?
There are stereotyped categories pre-determined by one's body,
and then there are individuals that go above and beyond that. Fuck yeah to anyone that feels comfortable to wear whatever the hell they want, not giving in to the whole, "oh, but you've got a penis. you're not allowed to wear a dress" or "you've got a vagina, you can't wear suits".

Fun Fact! Do you know why men have nips? Weird, huh? It's not like they'd ever need them. The reason's because all humans are conceived as females. There comes a certain stage where it's all up to sheer luck if the human's to begin developing with testosterone or estrogen. Therefore, penises are fucked up versions of vaginas, and the nips were there to begin with, with the body's anticipation of growing tits.

Very cute/Well done. Gender fluid is great, people MUST be the future now! It's time they all open their 3rd eyes.
I don't identify with roles or looks from specific gender.

Actually, penises are very large, overgrown clitorises! If you ever get the chance to look at a cross-section of female anatomy you'll see what I mean. That's probably one of the reasons that for trans*men getting a procedure called a metoidioplasty, the surgery is actually to engorge the clitoris and bring it outside of the body then wrap it in a skin-graft from the thigh to make a skin for it! Testosterone is part of what's used to induce that swelling of the clitoris so essentially, penis is created by an overabundance of testosterone.

Or something like that anyway, I haven't refreshed on the specifics of the procedure in awhile.

Thanks for the clarification of my explanation! I'd been under the impression that the head was the equivalent to the clit, and the shaft was an inverted, outwards version of.. I guess you could say, the tunnel leading up to women's ovaries? My friend showed me his clit 5 months on t, definitely know the effects of testosterone on a 'regular' human body : D....
I've gotten a negative answer to this question before, however, from what you've heard, do "FtM" individuals experience any sensation on the shaft of their modified parts?

MiyabiDreams In reply to Krystopher [2013-02-14 09:38:14 +0000 UTC]

They do, but it varies person to person and it's muted due to some specific structural differences. The nerve concentration is higher in the head, or the exposed part of the clitoris so more sensation would be focused there than anywhere else. Also, what comes of the procedure is commonly referred to as a 'micropenis', not good for much more than simply standing while urinating. The implants which are closer to actual size are far less sensitive and an erection is more difficult to achieve, but it is possible, it just takes other sorts of stimulation.

as a fellow bi-gender identifier I really love this :]
I've wanted to do something similar for a while now but have yet to find the means of doing so...
I'm really curious (I hope this doesn't offend you ;A but if you happen to be bio-female, how did you go about executing the left photo? I'd really love to know so I can do something similar ;o;
and if you happen to be bio-male I apologize and must say you look adorable on the right! :]

...You know, a few times people (and I agree) have made mention to the fact of them often forgetting I've got female parts - or finding it's weird referring to me as a "her", "she", etc. If this makes any sense, the right side is the one that feels just a little like cross-dressing - no matter! I shall let you know how I went about this feat:
My tits are considerably small, I was able to take an image of myself, and then blur out the two lines my breasts form on my chest. T'was all I needed to do : D.

I have a small bust as well so I hope it will come out similarly!
I have tried doing something similar in the past but it always looked so obvious...perhaps I was going about it the wrong way though...hmm...
was it really only the blur tool? how did you prevent it from looking smeared and...well..blurry? because it really does look quite convincing!

Krystopher In reply to XxNaomi-LukarixX [2013-02-14 18:58:46 +0000 UTC]

Oh shit ' I thought mine was really obvious...
'Guess I should've specified what tool it was that I'd used to blur it out, eh? I didn't use the "blur" tool at all, it was just the wording I'd used to describe my going over the lines and "blurring them out" with the airbrush. Just right-clicked the surrounding skin and blended it in :3

I only played with animal toys as a kid :/ I'm bigender, but when the two come together it comes out to an androgynous attitude towards life

I've seen a lot of popularity in androgyny as well. I for one am androgynous, and basically a lot of the "emo" genre (bad to label I know) is androgynous. Androgynous models are becoming popular (like Andrej Pejic who models both men and women's clothing). I'd say its more popular among teenagers and young adults.

And Krystopher, you pull of whatever gender you want very well Hot guy, pretty girl lol (not trying to be creepy or anything though)

Hopefully then the popularity (or awareness) of androgyny will continue to grow with the generations to come (You're right with the whole "emo" thing though - the first big 'trend' that involved guys looking like chicks, and chicks looking like dudes).
Haha, thanks B) None was taken 'creepily'.

tigre305 [2013-02-13 08:02:15 +0000 UTC]

As much as I love androgyny, I have not observed an increase in its popularity =/
Btw I do think genitals define your gender, which is entirely different from gender identity o_O

The world needs more androgyny, and fuck gender roles

Krystopher In reply to tigre305 [2013-02-13 08:14:42 +0000 UTC]

It's not absolutely obsolete - it's definitely a slow rise, it has no doubt however risen since the beginning of time. I'm personally running into (admittedly very few) people of this mentality.

"Gender identity" is how one personally views their gender. They are in essence the identical thing B). In cases, you are however correct, depending on the context - one's gender can refer to the genitals you have.
What's the name of the sex given to those born with two penises?
An extra tit?
Tits and a penis? (Hermaphrodite, yes, would be the term.)
Then we must take into consideration those that mutilate their organs to switch them into whatever suits society's fancy - the "penis" an "FtM trans" has, is simply a mutilated vagina. What are they now? Is "FtM" and "MtF" to become a new gender in itself?

Last two statements; fuck yeah.
