Description
Path Finder transforms from robot to space ship, featuring die-cast metal and chrome parts. She was released in the first series of GoBots figures in 1983, then re-released as part of the second series in 1984 with a hologram sticker.

She can roll freely on several wheels under her alternate mode, but this tends to cause damage to the silver paint on her arms.

Path Finder is a straight import of the Machine Robo UFO Robo toy.

GoBots - Path Finder (acquired from Snooper's Paradise, in Brighton)

Managed to pick up a Path Finder from a second-hand shop in Brighton yesterday. Sure, one of the guns is broken off, the other one is slightly bent out of shape, both arms are a little on the flimsy side, and the silver's faded away from her left foot sole completely, as well as the inside of her left hand. But whatever! Where else am I ever gonna find a Pathfinder, especially at the reasonable price of £4.50? Frankly, I'm just happy to have her in my collection at last. ^.^

Also, I've looked it up, and it would seem that mine is the Macau released version - Robo Machine / Machine Men (mostly), metallic Silver Glitter Effect, Stamped 'MACAU': www.the-liberator.net/site-fil… And it does indeed say MACAU on my Path Finder's left leg, as well as Bandai - which proves that it's definitely official.
