This looks fantastic, the first thing i thinked when i saw the spiky part it looked like a space station ^^.
keep on

lol missed half a sentence, meant to say " i see more of a scene if it was the other way up"

This is really interesting, but i cant help feeling that its upsidedown ...i see more of scene if it was, with a very stormy ocean and a kind of ancient coroded mast emerging from the depths, maybe from a long lost pirate ship, with some shadows from some cliffs reflecting in the bottom right half ... or even 90 degrees clockwise some long forgotten world. The texture is amazing, the details great, the render perfect, but im straining my neck to look at it the other way up
Which software did you use to make this?

Thanks for very interesting comment. I can't imagine the ocean because I created this as beautiful fractal and only this is in my mind
You asked about software. I developed my own program in C++. I'm planing to release this program for free but it is still early alfa version and works only on Linux.

im not sure im understanding your first sentence,....but fractals can be seen everywhere in the real world too, even in the ocean, and the beauty of all fractals for me is that everyone sees something different in them and that even just shapes can sometimes conjure up an overall scene

This is the tweak from the original 3d mandelbrot [link] . To artists in general, they imagine most of their artwork before calculate (or not) while coders don't. Coders use math to show the works, use patient to do (well a lot of these renders absolute take at least 5 h or more.
Also this is the demonstrate of the results that he used to modify his scripts.

I understand , thanks for your imput...what i still dont understand is why the 2 things have to be seperated And even if maths was used, one can still see a scene or object in the renders and its still art or not? even if it was calculated.
I just dont get when i say i can see a beautiful fractal scene conjuring up an ocean in my mind why the answer was "I can't imagine the ocean because I created this as beautiful fractal and only this is in my mind" Of course its a beautiful fractal i didnt contradict that lol, in fact i thought it was so beautiful that i took the time to tell what i see... everyone of course sees something different but im still confused as to the wording of his answer lol ... Anyway forget it, its probably just a language misunderstanding ... and no matter how or why it was created i still see this beautiful ocean scene (upside down ) with waves, rocks and a ships mast etc
Maybe i have too much imagination .. Lol it could also have been some strange satallite thing in the atmosphere.
btw arnt all fractals calculated with maths, through the variables, even if you do end up with a flowery shape in the end? Isnt it the imagination of what you see in the final image that makes it art?

Usually things show differently after rendering. You can never get the right results. People do real time calculations, not really randomness or the program calculated by itself.
When Krzysztof said "I can't imagine the ocean because I created this as beautiful fractal and only this is in my mind" does meaning there, no misunderstood in language. "I can't imagine the ocean" like I said, the tweak shown fabulous results out of the original mandelbrot 3d, different people have different opinions, but to the creator of it, the art shows his work. Coders used to proud of their own stuff, of the beauty to work with codes and hardworking, not truly the beauty of what it may become.
"I created this as beautiful fractal and only this is in my mind"
the beauty of fresh artwork is the values that created by yourself. Even if it took long time to render, I'm sure he enjoyed and having a lot of fun.
You are right, I used to name stuff based on the shapes n colors for the final renders. I'm kind of dummy b/c not work with fancy tools like UF n Apo for a while ...lol so there is the limitaion of imagine!!

In preview it looks a bit like land and sea, and I guess it still does in full view, but there are different dimensions throwing off the perspective depending on where you look. Which is neat
