What a handsome young dragonfly huh?I found this big guy at dance class and brought him home to take some photos and let him go
he was pretty big! probably the length of my middle finger 
I believe this was a darner dragonfly

Very nice. It might have been better if there were less "air" over the dragonfly's head though; that way I believe the composition would be better. Other than that I really like the lighting and colors! Did you use a flashgun for this?

Thanks so much! Well, I couldnt really control where he flew down, but I see what you mean, it distracts the attention away from the focus. Though, theres nothing I can do about it now

Yeah but thats way too much editing for a photo, I dont like to clone things out as big as that or do heavy editing
