This is because he is partially human and still rabbit.
I wanted to have 2 sets of ears just to show the fact he's two separate species mashed together and not one characteristic dominating the other. Weird concept yes and ultimately not exactly practical visually this gives him pretty much ultrasonic hearing (headcanon of mine).
But I hope you understand my odd reasons for having Bunny with 2 pairs of ears. ^^''
