Harry swallowed, adjusting his jacket as he crept through the trees of the Forbidden Forest, Snape’s memories had stirred a feeling of self hatred within himself. Harry now knew why he could talk to snakes; he now knew why he could hear the Horcruxes. He was the seventh Horcrux, the one Voldemort never meant to make. And now… Harry pulled out the snitch from his pocket- trembling he pressed his lips to the warmed surface; it was ironic how his being felt chilled to the bone in comparison.

“I am about to die.”

He whispered, and from the middle dropped a black stone- Harry picked it out of the forest floor and turned it thrice in his hand. His voice breaking in anguish as ghosts- shadows appeared before his very eyes; his voice breaking in shock, fear and determination. His ghostly mother reached out to him and Harry longed to touch her; his battle scarred hand passed through hers. Harry blinked away the tears of disappointment and pain- Sirius grinned from her right. Lily Potter smiled at her son gently and interlaced her fingers with James Potter.

“Stay with me.”

“Always.”

Harry looked guiltily to Lupin who just waved to him; Harry took a deep breath and allowed the resurrection stone to fall from his palm. The apparitions were gone as quickly as they had come. But Harry knew they would stay with him- as Sirius had promised him. A crack and snapping of a twig caused Harry to whirl about, his wand aloft. Draco Malfoy stumbled through the trees, hair in disarray, his pale face spattered with gore, his suit torn and bloodied.

“Potter don’t!”

“I don’t see why you should care Malfoy.”

Draco stopped a few metres away from the boy-who-lived panting slightly. Draco lowered his wand and hissed out- though his words were passionate and his voice held no hostility, just pure honest feeling.

“Potter if you give yourself up then this war will have been in vain! Countless have died for you and... you repay them by... You fucking coward Harry Potter! You don't seem the type, to just give up! What happened? Lost your bloody Gryffindor bravery?!”

Harry did not allow his wand to waver; he watched the pureblood as he caught his breath.

“Why should I trust you?”

Draco shook his head, his expressions were so open and vulnerable, and Harry found the stark contrast of the usual sneer and the blatant fear astounding.

“I am not asking for your trust Potter. I’m telling you. Don’t go to Voldemort.”

“I am whether you like it or not.”

Harry turned his heel intending to delve deeper into the trees,
he heard Draco move behind him.

“HARRY!”

Harry paused; Draco had never once uttered his sole given name in all the time they had known each other. He turned back to face the blonde.

“I don’t hate you.”

Harry momentarily stunned shook out of it, wary of the other male. Draco looked up from the frayed root he had been toying with his foot. Harry held the silver gaze equally before Draco turned away again.

“You don’t believe me.”

“It’s hard to. You broke my nose last year, you tried to torture me in that bathroom, you hate my guts Malfoy.”

“I have done things I truly regret. I panicked and... The Cruciatus was the first spell that sprang to mind- I wasn’t thinking.”

Draco whispered, his hand going to the middle of his chest; the place of the Gryffindor’s Sectumsempra where it had hit- now scarred over. Harry was once more taken aback as he saw tears streaking through the dirt and grime on the Slytherin’s pale face.

“If I had known what that spell did- Sectumsempra, I wouldn’t
have used it on you.”

Draco nodded and turned away, Harry watched the blonde for a long time.

“You never wanted to kill Dumbledore did you Draco?”

Draco looked at him aghast and his wand had shook, Harry knew Draco had never wanted to kill the old wizard, but now he had spent too much time here- it was time to go. He took another deep breath, steadying himself for what was inevitably going to come. The blonde across from him also looked in a state of mental breakdown. Piercing silver mercury eyes blazed across at him, shimmering with confusion, guilt and loss.

“I know I cannot change your mind, but I can tell you one thing before it ends.”

“What?”

Harry staggered, unprepared for the sudden weight that was Draco Malfoy lunging across- covering the few metres between them to seal their lips in a kiss. Harry felt his own emerald eyes widen and his unshed tears spill over from the gesture, as Draco’s squeezed tightly shut and overflowed with tears under the lids.

The message was clear:

‘Don’t go.’

The pose is somewhat funky... eh well i'm getting better at these weird poses MWAHAHAAHHAH! Draco at first looked... well not fabulous. I tried so much to figure out what it was (i spent 2 hrs fcking changing draco lmao!)- FINALLY i found out what it was-

I haven't done wounds or blood in so long... forgive me it looks terrible. *dies* but i do believe I am getting better at lips! HUZZAH! X3

LUMOS!!! that was so fun. im not joking XD I always think of Snape with the Lumous spell- cuz he can just light and turn off his wand silently. its so cool *w*
