Description
The third of three pictures of fireworks I particularly like, all taken at the "Battle Prom" at Highclere Castle last year. I used my now very old Nikon Coolpix 2500 at it's maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (don't laugh) - just set a long exposure and point at a bit of the sky that you hope a firework will go off in soon. Very hit and miss but some come out particularly well. Only trouble is you don't get to look at the fireworks so much.

I cropped this one a little to get rid of some empty black sky on the left (lossless crop using Irfan View - a very handy feature), though we've still got the green and blue pixels to contend with.
