"All Super Mario games have NEVER a good story, it's always the same!"If you ever said that, then let me slap you right now. Ever played "Paper Mario 2 - The Thousand-Year Door"? If not, you've missed a real good RPG game right here. It's one of those Mario games which has an excellent story if you ask me!! I played it when I was 'bout 13 years old or something. My tiny teenage-mind was blown into tiny pieces of its awesomeness!
What I can say 'bout this game is the punies 8,D. OH DEAR, THEY WERE SO ADORABLE!!! They were in Chapter 2 and NGHNNN. Mouse-sized adorable little lamps with tiny legs!! And they were always afraid that you'd eat them ;A;. NGHNN... So much adorbs!!

It was so cute, they all live in a Giant Tree and you had to free them all >w<. It was pretty awesome how you slowly gathered all 101 punies around you and which also followed you through the whole giant tree >w<. So adorable ;w;!~
Oh yeeah, and I also remember that the end-boss was so hard!! I think it took a week for me to beat the Shadow Queen XD. But it was one good, hilarious and truely epic game with a good story. I just loved collecting all those Crystal Stars and fight in a theater like stage against my enemies while there were an audience cheering at me 8D. I remember my first boss fight against this dragon. Ya had to see my face as this damn dragon ate the audience to fill his energy again Dw<.

EDIT: Oh yeeah, I also like to point out that Vivian is actually a dude. Yup, transgender-woman. It was cencored in the English version (and I also think in the German version too). That's also why her two sisters always bullied her. But you can't imagine how happy I was that she also got into the team

They were some pretty funny fellas ;w;. 101 ones of them were just following you through the entire level XD;. It was so cute <3.
It'll be difficult to find that game, since it was only for the gamecube ;A;. But I think there are some playthroughs/let's plays somewhere.

Awwe too bad ;w;. But sometimes Mario games tended to ruin friendships thanks to Mario Kart and Mario Party 8,D. Oh damn, those games were so fun though with friends. You can't believe how bad I was 8,D, but that's what it made so fun >w<. Paper Mario is really more RPG and story. One adorable story ;w;. I loved saving those punies

Aahhhh, finally someone who knows the game 8DD. I got soo hooked up by this game and also played it many times ;w;. Yees, I also really wished that one of them would come in the team, I didn't like Flurrie either ;A;. I think Viviane and Yoshi were pretty much my favs X3.

I was so excited when it started hinting that Vivian would join the group. I was like "But she's the best looking one by far!"
I think I also liked the Bob-Omb guy. He was a good party member.

Oh gosh yeees, that was such an intense chapter as Mario lost his body!! Dat plottwist XD. I was already so confused why the fight was so easy and then *gaaaasp*. And I was even more confused as the letter was stolen from the keyboard thing XDD. Oh dear, I was soo much in stress because of that XD. And then only Vivian was there as your friend. That was so precious
Oh yeeah, the Bob-Omb captain was epic X3. I loved the Cortez endboss even though he was so difficult to beat 8,D.

I was also confused about the easy battle! And then I looked at the end screen for a long time, thinking my game was frozen! I didn't realize the shadow guy swapped for several minutes. And then I bumped the jump button and said "WOAH that's awesome." I was super glad that Vivian came back even after finding out you were Mario the whole time~
Cortez was great! And then once he's defeated he gets back up like "Just kidding! But I'm bored so take this thing."

Ohoho, dat guy was really great >D. I just loved his theme =w=. But also the chapter with the train travel was so awesome XD;. I felt kind of bad fighting against the endboss and everytime I hit him I was like "Ugh, sorry passengers DX. I'm trying to get you guys outta there... by beating him up... and you... I WILL SAVE YOU!!"

All of the chapters were really well thought out. ^^ I also played Super Paper Mario, which had a surprisingly deep story as well. And the visuals in both games are just amazing, so bright and colorful~
The train was great. I felt bad that the boss was just those soot things that I carelessly shoved out of the way early on. They were just mad that I hit them for no reason! Dx
