The giant was completely out of breath. Six adult half-giant were quite a challenge for him. But despite everything he could beat them to flight. Without his fire breath, the battle would be quite different.
He turned to the green-haired girl Yuki. She was still sitting in the same spot and had the same facial expression. She was frightened at once as she felt the giant ran up to her. He knelt to her and said,

"Well? Are you feeling better already?" He wanted to poke her, but she flinched and crawled away from his huge fingers. She was probably still in shock from the attack.

"Don't worry, I won't eat you! Otherwise I'd have gobbled you up last time."

"W-What was .... th-that?"

"Those? We call'em half-giants ... Because they ... Well, they're as half as large as we are Giants. We're not that good with naming things. Now you know why we never see humans. These things mostly hunt down humans . And they eat'em. You were quite lucky that I was so close by! "

The girl tried to get to her feet, but stumbled. A few huge finger caught her in mid-air before she could hit the ground, "Th-thanks ..."

"Welcome..."

"No, really. Thank you ... I-I never thought that you ..."

"-save you? Well I'm not like Yaten, who tried to rip off your other remaining limbs. I'm really sorry 'bout that. He isn't always like that. He's just sometimes ... a mess and forgets what he's doing. Happens to me also sometimes when I'm hungry. But don't worry, I've got myself under control. I just had a giant lizard. Was really tasty. I have one more, if you're hungry too! "

"N-no, thank you. Lizardmeat is... not my favorite.", The girl tried to stand up again, but cried out in pain, "Aaaahhh !! Damn, my leg !!"

"Is your leg broken ?!"

"Y-yes, my real leg. I-I must go back immediataly."

"Uhm. I can also bring you to Yaten. He could cure it in no time!"

"Oh, come on. As long as I'm here, that idiot won't hurt you. I promise. Don't worry, I'll protect you just as before! But only at one condition ..."

The girl began to sweat and did not really know what his condition was, "W-What exactly?"
The giant suddenly came closer with his face and his pupils widened. She got even more nervous and then the Giant whispered, "Can I look at your metal arm and leg? I could never take a closer look."

She was relieved that it was only that, "If it's only that, of course." The giant showed his wide grin. She was a bit nervous when she saw his sharp teeth, but the way he behaved, he was currently harmless. So she tried as good as possible not to show her fear.

She stretched her arm up and the red giant suddenly came closer with his nose. He sniffed her arm. Yuki felt a bit strange that a huge creature sniffed her arm, but she tried to remain calm. Suddenly Kenji held her arm with two huge fingers and moved it

"It's unbelievable how this piece of metal moves according to your will. What spell did you guys used on it?"

"It's made of Titan-Aluminum. There is no magic needed for a prosthesis like this. Or for anything we use. It was a very complicated operation. That's all technology we do."

"You humans are really interesting creatures. That this thing doesn't even need any magic. So awesome! And you broke Yaten's nose with it!! You've got my respect lil girl! Well then! Then let's go back home."

Suddenly, he wrapped his fingers gently around Yuki and lifted her up slowly. She screamed briefly and held firmly to his finger.
"DON'T LET ME GO !!! I HAVE TERRIBLE HIGH ANXIETY !!"

"Hey, trust me! I won't let you fall. And I'm not that tall after all ..."

"A-and ... something else. Thanks again. I really appreciate it very much that you saved me."

"You don't have to tell me that a second time. I wouldn't let any friend get eaten by a bunch of half-giants..."

I honestly didn't expect to write a lil story ʘ‿ʘ. Well as yaa can see, Kenji's protecting lil Yuki from some hungry Half-Giants =u=. They're actually called Bajak, but Giants just call'em Half-Giants. And that's also how I called'em first, because I'm also bad at naming things <__<;.

By the way that's how a Half-Giant/Bajak looks like XD

However, enjoy protecive Kenji protecting lil human friend =u=. The story isn't anything special... it just happend. But enjoy anyways
