well I don't really confident to be able to explain it in technical level...

but most likely... 'do-revise-do' the image till I get decent result, I think...
maybe also putting a lot of reference in the process...
and for digital stuffs, sequential arts like comic/manga on top of it, probably the most important thing is proper layer management...

as for step by step I don't really did anything special...

• drafting, including text content(formatting comes later); with this I only use 2 effective layer(image + text)
• hard sketching all panel
• smooth sketching all panel, in this one I use my line assist macro till I get good grasp for the finish line art(separating foreground and background);  begin to text formatting (balloon and else)
• fine line art (separate everything from smooth sketch to each layer), again I make use my line assist macro to gradually change the smooth sketch layer to fine line art
  
• post editing(tone and composition)
• and lastly set export setting so the tone not looks too bad...

• my line assist layer only to let me change part of image layer color to sketch style color(light bluish)
• I'm not keeping any sketch layer here... all of them are later changed to fine line art
• I only keep flatten image of my progress named arch, arch 2, 3 and so on, just in case my line goes wrong too much

probably not... the thing I remembered is...
the content are not that much for each chapter... and the chapters are ended around 8 or 9

but certainly it looks interesting...

If that's the case, what story did you read then?  Do you have a link?

I just posted Chapter 20 of my story, and I'm currently working on Chapter 21.  Anyway, in my story, I'm having Klein develop in a different way.

I didn't even remember the time I read it... few years ago...
it could be only one title...
but I also might read multiple title and mistaken it as one title...
so...
yeah... I don't remember it...

and it is many times since I reinstall my windows.. so there's no history in my browser for that title..
