Well, this is my contest entry for Spring Contest.

Honestly, I've only seen the contest while submitting works from the group and I don't really have any intention of joining. However, I got nothing else to do after finishing the last commission so I decided to join (I don't think I'll win though) . . . The idea of the contest is to draw the group mascot in a spring theme which should include the following items:

1. A sphere
2. A Star
3. The Color Purple

I think people can tell where those things are, but since it's part of the contest I'll just do some elaborations.

1. The spheres are the bubbles floating around the picture. I know you can't even tell it, but she's actually UNDERWATER. I haven't drawn underwater stuffs so. . . I'll try this one in here //slapped//. (itdoesn'tevenlooklikeone)
2. The stars are found everywhere though. If you look closely, the shape of the hydrangea flowers are stars. There are also a star print on each fish on the picture. I got the idea on the Pisces zodiac.
3. The color purple are the color of the hydrangeas.

My concept of spring was always the rain. We don't have 4 seasons here, but I always love drawing hydrangeas which only grows beautifully in the Spring Rain.
