Well I'm not quite sure of her breed since I took her home from an RSPCA, but I've been told she looks alot like a Russian Blue. (although she's very tabby like) Her brothers were pure black and sisters the same colour as she.
I love her fur colour

mine was from a mix litter as well [link] [link] His mom was a calaco and the others in the litter were all mixed except for him. He has a slight 'rust' from his moms calico, so with the silver blue he looks purple. We nickname him "the Grape Otterpop"

But the purple tint sounds very interesting - I don't think I've seen a "purple cat"

its really only when the light is right, since his rust is so thinly mixed in his steel blue/silver charicteristic of the Russian Blue [link] Is yours afraid of strangers? Mine has nothing to do with anyone else at all, yet just like in the article, he is so faithful, so much more affectionate than any other cat I have ever seen.
