probably my most recent art posted as of late, here is Kiara taking her daughters out on their first hunt!

in my headcanon, ruling monarchs and (especially) members of the Lion Guard are generally forbidden from hunting due to conflict of interest, but they still go through training because it’s useful to know!

I believe Kiara never truly gets the hang of hunting - despite Kovu’s best efforts - but I like to imagine she knows enough of what NOT to do that she can bestow at least /some/ wisdom onto her daughters LOL

also following Koda’s redesign I have slightly tweaked Inira too - mainly her facial features, I really wanted her to resemble Kovu but also have some strong Kiara/Nala traits! she was originally a headshot adopt I got years ago, designed by EyesInTheDark666 , so shout out to you once again for this gorgeous girl!
