Personally I don't think the coloring is bad @ all, but that's likely a personal preference. I like VerGoh's suggestion for crosshatch, b/c you don't see much SF art in that style @ all and it'd be unique.
Also agreed w/ the fist; personally I don't think you'd have to add blur lines to make it look like an uppercut, but if it is an uppercut Adon's head position should be more reeled back, and I guess Sagat's arm more raised and outward. Other than that tho this is good.

I think it would look cool if you color it with crosshatching texture. I like their expression on both of them but Sagat's fist does not look empowering. I guess to make it look like his fist are moving you can add some type of blur or "wind" effect around his fist.
Overall this piece looks eyecatching and nice.

been trying so hard to paint, as you can see in my gallery i'm not much of a painter, but i'm dedicating myself to it now. i want to improve. ehehe. i thought of something about that effect on the fist but i cant pull it off yet. i'll take things a step at a time for now. thanks and i will think about your suggestion.

I do not know how to color that well too but what made me improve just a little bit is by painting people from life or from photos. Anyway, that is just my opinion, good luck on painting!

used to paint from my life drawing subjects back at college. haha. well i guess i should practice more.
