Description
In the same fashion as my old “falling blimps” comic, i’ve done this comic where i can update the times in which political correctness manages; or at least tries; to change it/take it down/ fire someone or something. And yes believe it or not, behind every one of those there's a story about something being changed or someone being fired for it.

Yeeeeeah i don't support many cancelation stuff but I atleast try to look at the other side. There i totally support canceling him as he's had chance after chance but keeps continuing to spout not only that but anti LGBTQ stuff to his fans and possibly shaping there future worldview if there young enough definitely a case i say he should not have a platform to spread these views

I understand that. But like... If you hear someone say 30 things so far fetched to claim evil and cancel them... Then it would be asking a decent lot to expect people to listen the one time you are right.
It doesn't mean we shouldn't listen, but it does mean people get tired, desensitized and start taking your specific opinions less seriously, which would be completely understandable, even if it's not the right thing every time.

And that's a fair point but its not all the same person. Its lumping stuff with various levels of severity and support together under a charicature of the other side specifically made to be stupid. Its intellectually dishonest

I understand. I am not American or living there, so I can't really speak from experience, but I think that this artist is only trying to make joke art about the extremists among them,throwing in controversies or callouts that seem the most stupid. Of course, if it's really reasonable, that's not his intent, but I also understand how he stays kinda passive in his responses too. If he tries to defend himself, you might have been one ofthe extremists, in which case he'd only be giving himself a headache and a ticket to cancel town. I'm not saying you're wrong or dumb, but I do suggest you take his work with a grain of salt, even if, technically, there are a few factual mistakes.
That won't mean you aren't allowed to clear them up in the comments if you think that needs to be done, or if you think it would interest people, or even link to the page where the conflict came from for background information.

Yea its just at points I can't tell if he's responding to extremists or being one in the other direction like I believe he a while back made something like this specifically ridiculouing people wanting actors to fit the roles like having a gay guy play a gay guy and people identifying as things they weren't born as

Well... I mean, it is a pretty extreme and ridiculous standard. They wouldn't just have to look close enough for the role and be able to professionally act. They would then also need to be a specific minority. That would be WAY harder than what they did in Home Alone, where they didn't wanna pick a girl to play the kid's ugly GF, so instead they took a picture of the kid or some direcor's son with a wig and said "There, that's an ugly GF, task complete"

Yeah but that wasn't a main character that was just a joke and they didn't use a girl. Im saying if you wanna portray something accurately you should actually get an actor who fits the role. Like having a Muslim actor play a Muslim character

Why tho? It's already hard to get someone who looks close enough and can also act. Why would it matter if they are that IRL or not? I feel like that's just going towards asking someone to play theirselves, but with a script, which is then gonna be more like improvising, but worse?

If its not ok to have a white guy play a black guy then it should be held as a universal standard with some exceptions as you said atleast for main characters in live action. Im more lenient in animation but in live action less so.

Well, yeah, basic stuff should matter, but I feel like asthetic would be about it in that case. And in the worst case, they COULD paint a white person black, or a black person white. But at that point you would REALLY need something specific.

Im Normally not so pro cancel culture myself but I think you should atleast hear the other side out and not just live in a bubble of everything remotely like it is stupid. The Seuss one isn't even cancel culture if what I heard correct its that the books message was out of date and they were no longer making money for the company so they retired them

I was using that as an example of something not as harmless as say James gunn using some jokes in the past that were offensive and already apologized for them. These aren't equivalent and shouldn't be treated as such. I used it because im not to date on most of them. Pewdiepies one of the few I know along with gunn and Seuss and a couple others
