Description Heyo guys, KuuumaMask here!!!!~

And back with me, we have the Pokémon Positivity Series everyone had been expecting to return!!! As I said in my latest journal, I'll make my best to upload at least a piece per week and well, we're starting off with spinda and career advice!!! If you're new around here, welcome! Make yourself comfortable and get ready, because lil' ol' Maskie here writes a lot! It's not even that I like to speak, I just- When I start talking about things, I may get carried over by them, I realize things that are related to the main question that I also should talk about and... Well. The ones who have been here for a little longer know it veeery well *cough* sorry, guys >////////////<''

Anyways, let's start talking about this, yes?

This is a very important thing I've been wanting to tell people for a long time now.

*sigh*

Most of us have been and... Well, are still going through the pressure of having to choose a career, or what to make of it, and this is like, a universal topic people talk and struggle a lot, actually. So it's no new thing that I'm talking about, but still. I believe it's important that I do so.

If people are suffering with this, if they're struggling with such questions, if I can try to help, I will. And if I actually can do something, you can bet I will.

Now listen, very important thing: What I'm about to say goes mostly for the kids who are going through school hell, but they might also apply to college students like me, and if the way I put things manages to be a bit more mature, it also goes for people who already have actual jobs, wheter you have a graduation or not. If you're going through the struggle of deciding something for your career, you might want to take a while to read this. Then again, this is just some advice written by a very hopeful 19-year old, maybe you feel like this isn't going to be any useful, and that's ok! Just take the main message for your life! Anyways, hope it is useful for you, if you're still reading this.

We often hear from people that we should know exactly what we want to make in the future, they even give us those "what I want to be in 10 years from now", "what I think I'll be doing in 10 years" questionaires at school, and see, as a kid, I have to confess I actually had a lot of fun with those. Because I freely chose whatever was in my head at the time, and that's because I felt I had the freedom to do so. I never thought things had to go exactly as I planned. well, ok, maybe I was too dumb and didn't even have plans in the first place, so whatever I got, I'd be happy with it. And this is like, almost my whole point here: Things don't have to be exactly as you plan to be perfect, and you don't have to pick your first choice because is was your first choice and everyone expected you to follow it. Also, even more important and even more related to why I chose this pokémon and this phrase to talk about it is that man, if you don't have any plans at all, IT IS OK.

See, I bet most people who are reading this right now, who are interested in pokémons and positive motivational phrases they found on the internet are the ones within the range of 13 to 24 years old. And damn, think with me: You are so young, you have just so much time to go through in your life, and... Dude. That is incredible. Think of it, the average human nowadays has a lifespam of... what, 80 years, I guess? And if you're within the age range I presented here, you still have more than 50 years to live. And even if you die sooner, that's still A LOT of time to live. How wonderful is that? And hey, heeeey. Let's not think about death right now, ok? You're here. And you got a lot of time to live. The reason why I highlight the word "live" so much is that it is... So crucial, so important, and people don't seem to realize that. Like, you have your whole life to think about, and it isn't just your work you think about!! We have special people we think about, we have fun things to do, not just work. And see, why does work has to be a chore? Many older people I've met across my life said "if you have the chance to choose your job, take one that doesn't make you feel like you're doing a chore. Take one that gives you pleasure to do." Anyways, I drifted away from the main point a lil' bit. The thing is, just like you have a lot of time to live, you also have plenty of time to make a choice on what you want to be in the future.

"What college to choose"
"What profession to choose"
"What place to work at"
"Which places NOT to work at"

We're all tormented by these questions, and very often we forget about this little, yet very important detail: We are plenty of time. This is an advantage we have over many things of life. I'm not telling you making such choices is a piece of cake, no, we still have to go through the choice struggle, but try to learn a way to face it without having to struggle too much. It is possible, and you CAN do it.

Even if you have anxiety, even if you have depression, even if you have any sort of mental illness, you can do it. Ok? I know you can. Many people I've met across my life had severe depression and anxiety, had to fight external forces to make a stand and put up a fight for what they wanted when they finally decided what was it, and... They did it. They went through a lot, but they did it and they are awesome.

Listen, kid:

You have time.

You have the power to make the right choice.

You're not an abnormality if you still haven't chose what you want to be and your friends are already at college/work.

You're not weird if you realized what you first chose isn't what you actually wanted, and it's ok to change your mind.

If you think you need some time away from academic stuff before going to college to clean your mind and make a better choice, it's ok.

And last but not least, you can do this.

Oh, and here come the time to also scold people. Sorry, I don't just offer pats in the back, I say what has to be said, things that make you feel nice and things that doesn't.

I'm here to tell you it's ok to be indecisive, but if you're just being lazy (and that's up to you to judge and decide if it applies to you or not), get up your lazy ass and start thinking. No one goes any farther in life without thinking a bit. If you have a tendency to overthink things, alright, this isn't for you, chill out. But. If you're just not doing anything and running out of time to choose things, dude, organize yourself and your life. Sometimes being indecisive is also a signal of lack of organization. And you should first organize yourself before you thought of making any choices.

*sigh*

Sorry if I talked too much, guys. I never want to do so, but I ALWAYS end up doing it, so... Sorry.

Hope to have been able to help someone, hope not to have made things worse for you (if I did, please tell me and please forgive me, I really just wanted to help >///A///<).

I was going to say some more things, but... Well, I guess I'll leave them for a next piece. Not even talking about advice, but more like commentary about my current drawing schedule and such, but... Well, even I got tired of typing so much. I guess it's already been a whole hour and a half that I've been typing this nonstop, so... Time for a break, time for dinner, time to stop for while~

Hope ya'll are having a great week so far, guys!!
Baibai!~

You always know what to say Maskie, ya know? First of all great work on the art, you're an amazing artist! And second of all, if this didn't inspired anyone who read this then I don't know what to tell these people like holy fuckle. If it comes to me my lack of work is mostly a result of massive anxity that makes me a lot lass creative and motivated, but I'm seriously doing my best to overcome it, as slow as it is... I've been feeling down a lot lately so pretty much timing of this is great. Thank you so much and great job once again!
