this time i got bill wide openthese tiny birds do not stop at one place for a long time i is difficult to focus and shoot

i took it from my balcony of seating room it is facing north east it was there for some time therefore i was able to take this shot

they are exactly like humming birds of usa they make sweet sound but do not stop for a long time at one place ( they do but at a very long distance and at very high place and being tiny my camera does not permit to take detailed photograph)

they can and have tried to shoot one while hovering and will try to give you link of the photo this one purple sunbird more fro wikepidiya
The Purple Sunbird (Cinnyris asiaticus) is a small sunbird. Like other sunbirds they feed mainly on nectar, although they will also take insects, especially when feeding young. They have a fast and direct flight and can take nectar by hovering like a hummingbird but often perch at the base of flowers. The males appear all black except in some lighting when the purple iridescence becomes visible. Females are olive above and yellowish below.

they must be a relative of hummingbirds....the one that you photographed here is beautiful...

i have searched in wikepidia they are very much similar but they are different
