Thanks! That's a way for Swedish students to find each other in large libraries. You know, you're supposed to be silent, so you cannot call out for your friends or use phones, so you have to use something visual instead. So you buy a balloon of some kind and tell your friends to look after that balloon when they come to the library. This way has been around for some 20 years, and when I was at the uni, there were only 2 or 3 balloons at the time, but today it's so common that sometimes the library halls are full of ballons, and people have to come up with creative balloons to find their friends. Like football team balloons or band merchandize.
