Drew this a while ago when i was in a drawing funk. I thought this coloring would look really good on it, something simple with no shading.I do really like the feeling of this piece, and I wish I could post it larger.
I posted this as a 'traditional work' because it was all pencil, just some color overlay in photoshop. I didn't change any of the original pencil lines.

perfect coloring approach, continued mastery of anatomical form, wonderfully subtle and expressive, now all you need is to do something with a background.

i think a background would have detracted from this piece... but yes, i need to start drawing bgs...
this piece was originally colored lighter, but i ripped the opacity down and put the background color in and i called it a day.
want me to email you a higher-res version? her eyes are pretty, but you can't see it very well in the version i posted... >_<

yeah, i didn't mean a background for this piece, just an actual background for any piece...like, ever.
