Many people i think will disagree, but not only i think this character is super cute, i also think she's one of the best designs in history of cartooning...it was not until "Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure" when disney decided to do her a makeover on her design...she was untouchble for decades, thats why tinkerbell is my #1enjoy

Some people don't care for it, but I love blurred foregrounds and backgrounds in a cartoon-style piece. It looks professional to me, adds an extra dimension that helps a static image feel like its moving.
And you're right, Tinkerbell is a great and lasting design, and I'd attribute this to the simplicity of her design. And the color choices are really spot-on: that vibrant-yet-foresty green with the powder-blue wings, golden hair, and fair skin just work, plain and simple.
In regards to this piece, I like the flowers a lot: they're very much like lotus-flowers in silhouette, which is cool.
