fff /yeah/. The animation of the old series itself clearly had a lot more effort put into it, even when you think about the era of animation at that time. It's so old yet it still trumphs GDW all day long

Exactly, I agree, GNG can run circles around GDW when it comes to animating. I love older animated series, the effort the animators put into them is so clear and genuine. Why can't it always be like that ffff
I don't think Gin really had that much of a character though. D: If you get what I mean, his personality needed a lot of help from those awesome supporting characters, if they weren't there I don't think his series would have been as good. Yeah I agree again, Gin's show was much more fun to watch than Weed's. C:

honestly, so am I XDDD I hate watching anime. Ginga is the only I've watched all the way through--every other one was like "ok, enough of this shit".
I do think you might like the story though 8D like after the first four or so episodes, you get into the story, as far-fetched and poorly drawn as it is. And you get to laugh at Weed because he's a fag <3
