Great use of colors and such a nice composition! Took me a while to notice the shiny Altaria and the tower (which isn't a bad thing, of course). Do you use Photoshop? And what kind of brush do you use that gives such a nice texture?

For that texture, I used an irregularly shaped brush with a grain that has holes in it, set to random size and orientation
