Here's Sandrin, colored. I noticed AFTER I scanned this that I did not color in her wing. Damn! I do want to give her a background, too. Maybe at some point. Or maybe it will stay like this for posterity. All I can say is, yes her limbs are supposed to be that color, they're darker due to a special condition. And I hate what my scanner does to pictures. ;_;Related content

I really kind of love this illustration, I'm actually considering getting it as a tattoo, if you wouldn't mind that. XD It's just soooo beautiful, I'd get it over my spine, right between my two masks.

another wonderful piece! great sense of volume overall, especially in the drapey feeling of the teal cloth.
my only comment would be that the shading above her breasts seems just a little too exaggerated, keep in mind that there should be a fair amount of light on her chest area, so even if her boobs were super squished, there wouldnt be that much shadow on the chest area.
and also, the wings look slightly unnatural... there're not shaded at all, which looks strange with the rest of the image, and the feathers look slightly off... i think that's something u'll just have to experiment with and practice, because with your very unique style, it'd be difficult to just copy someone else's wings...
aside from that, theres not much else i can critique... the mask could be a little more dramatically shaded, but thats a very very minor point. i commend you for having that light line just inside the lineart, its a little detail that makes this even better. great work!

I just love these great, in-depth comments ^-^ I certainly agree about the shading on her breasts...the way it is now, it makes her upper chest area look flat, instead of being angled outward like its supposed to. As for the wings...that was my fault entirely. I forgot to color them. ;_; And, as of now, they STILL aren't done! heh.

Excellent coloring and linework! I especially like the tribal mask. She definitly looks guilty of something, but what that would be is a mystery. She's got lovely eyes and interesting clothes.
Something that distracts me, though (and I'm afraid to say it like this), is her chest. I'm assuming her breasts are meant to look bound, but instead of still being a little round, it appears a bit too flat. You could try to round it out by shaping her breasts with shading and lighting.
Overall this is a really nice and colorful piece ; D

I see what you mean about her breasts. They were meant to look smushed (heh) but it doesn't look like there's mass above and below the band. And the band could probably be shaded more too, to still give the feel of going over something round. Thanks for the crit!
