Are there going to be enemies that fire in patterns of symbols or letters?

Will there be more elaborate Patterns? Mandala Patterns and such? For Bossfights etc.

Honestly, I feel like cosmic monoliths are a bit overrated. Yes, in EBFΒ 3 they're bringers of doom and despair, but preparation can (mostly) invalidate them. In EBF4's battle mountain, the Cosmic Monolith encounter...my party was loaded up with enough dark resistance to mostly negate Doomsday and completely negate Pulsar and Antimatter; Anna was even able to absorb some health from Doomsday. Literally, the only way I could have been killed there was if all 3 monoliths used their physical attack: Something that became a non-issue once one has fallen. As for BH2's cosmic monoliths, we'll see just how powerful they are, but I can't imagine them being more then just an elite enemyΒ (Between generic mass-produced enemy and mini-boss), maybe a mini-boss.

The cosmic ones inΒ EBF4, yes. They essentially try to tele-frag you by warping onto you. Or at least it's some sort of non-elemental attack, I'm just assuming it's physical.
