Here’s the NPC editor for Epic Battle Fantasy 5!
Make some characters, give them a name and a story, and they may inspire something in the actual game!
I recommend going to the EBF Discord to share screenshots of your NPCs, and you can also chat about them there. In the comments here you can really only share your save code, and not screenshots.

Name: Tsu. Is a warrior mage looking for materials to upgrade and fix her staff to fight the monsters ahead. She specializes in Wind magic and enchantments. Like to take walks and adventure with no clear destination or idea of her current location.
"Hm... where am I again? Oh hey could you give me directions or something. I could make you a weapon in return but I have to fix mine up first. Would you mine?" After helping her she would say. "Oh thanks, now all I need to do is remember what I am doing here." Talking to her again after finishing the quest she would say: "Do any of you know which direction the wind is coming from? I'm chasing it."

Name: Daniel Jones

Background: Daniel is a miner who is busy trying to earn enough money to leave his tiring town. He is serious with his job, but tired of working in the mines. He was taught how to use a gun during his childhood and is always seen caring a shotgun on his back to work incase of any time a creature tries to attack the miners. He mostly goes on with his business and does not communicate with anyone else in and out of the mines much. He wants to live in a forestry town near a river, and spend the rest of the time fishing and cultivating. Some people often find him walking around town or outside of town late at night. When they ask what he was doing, he responds that it is none of their business and he was just bored and wanted to walk. The day that the player will first encounter him, is the day that he gets caved in during an earth quake.
When the player first encounters Daniel after clearing the pathway that was blocked by either boulders or rocks, he will trade the player rare gems and minerals found by mining for a certain amount of gold. He only trades one of each few sets of items for every 1 out of 100(you can change the rate of percentage) creatures killed in the mines. If the player spent around 10,000(or more) cash with him, every previous trade adds up, he will no longer be found in the mines indicating that he moved. The player can then find him in a forestry town. When encountered there, he will tell the player that the money that they traded him helped him move out of his old miserable town and allowed him to live his dream of being a farmer and fisherman. From there, he no longer trades rock minerals and gems, but fish and food products instead.
He will also tell the player, after moving to the forest town, that he was actually doing black market business/trading with someone in exchange for money during most of the nights the people in his old town has seen him wandering around. He used to exchange dead creatures or body parts of fallen people who died by animal attacks with the person. Then the person would buy the stuff from him and goes off. He never asks why the person needed the body parts because he was desperate to move out of town. Though he tells the player that he no longer needs to do stuff like that since now his new living allows him to both earn more money and live off of.

Background: Stella is often found wondering around in the forest to get away from her busy life and relax. She is often seen either playing her guitar or painting nature related artwork. She as well paints what she sees and can paint a person if asked. Every trip to the forest, she brings her coffee cup along with her guitar and paint set. Whenever there was a crime and the criminal passes by the forest during the time Stella is there, people would ask her to draw someone who seems suspicious since she does not mind doing request of drawing people. Her most common spot in the forest is an small open area with a tree stump which she is often found sitting on top of. Whenever people need to look for her, they always go to the tree stump first. If she is not there, then that means that she is either somewhere else in the forest or at home. She lives in a busy town and it does not help with the pollution that caused her to often head straight to the forest whenever she gets the chance. She talks in a calm manner and is rarely annoyed with people.
When first encountered, she will greet the player by saying that she never seen them around in the forest before and informs the player that if they ever wanted a drawing of them or someone else just ask her and she will draw it with no price needed. She only sells artwork that is of nature, not people without permission(which she never asks cause it does not feel right to.)
Every encounter after the first will be her asking if the player needs anything: "Is there something you need?" (You can put options in if you like the idea of a person drawing the player of their team in the custom clothes that the player chose as a way to show off the team and screen save, and the idea of drawing anything suspicious/criminal or creature for a quest/side-quest that only takes place in the forest(or if the creature/person passes the forest.))

Background: Wanders about the world with her pet Dark Bush, Belladonna, her brother, Ashe, and their undead bodyguard / servant / companion, Mort, who was raised from the dead by Ashe. To outsiders, it seems as if Vi and Ashe act cold and distant and toward each other, but they actually care very much for each other, and are quick to act on perceived insults to the other sibling. Vi plays the guitar in her spare time, and prefers a quiet place to practice, thus often traveling to the Dark area, where she responds in an annoyed manner if disturbed. A fair way to have her be slightly nicer is to bring her flowers, thus prompting her to consider telling the generous soul a secret, though still in her abrasive style.

Background: Vi's brother, and Mort's master, Ashe is an aspiring Necromancer, dabbling in the Occult as he travels with his sister. He's somewhat more approachable than his sister, though he's still rather aloof, and nothing really seems to faze or impress him. He'll gladly trade advice for books of Occult knowledge or other Supernatural relics. He's commonly seen with his Familiar, an enchanted spider named Ed, riding around on his head. Ashe is very protective of Ed, and sometimes gives him to Mort to look after while he's occupied with something else.

Name: Mort
Background: Mort is a Ghoul (a little too much flesh and hair to be a skeleton, but too intelligent yet skeletal to be a zombie,) raised by Ashe, and follows him and his sister on their travels, acting as their bodyguard, servant, and only true friend. Mort is completely loyal to the pair, and follows their orders without question. Mort is the real muscle of the trio, since, as the revived remains of an ancient warrior, he's skilled with a wide array of weaponry, which supplements Ashe's black magic and Vi's cursed music. Mort is intelligent, but doesn't speak much, instead mostly communicating through body language, voice-inflective grunts, and whatever facial expressions he can manage with what he has left. Ashe and Vi occasionally leave Ed and Belladonna with Mort for safekeeping.

Name: Celse (Based loosely off the word "Celsius")
Story: Once a knight, still a powerful warrior, she wanders in search of jobs. And by "jobs", I mean she's a hired assassin.
Personality: She is rather harsh to those she meets at first. However, despite being an assassin, she can get emotional rather easily, and she isn't too fond of technology. Hell, if someone pilots a mech, there's a good chance if someone asks for her to kill them, she'll do it free of charge. It's hinted at that there's some sort of background history with her and a mechanic that caused her bias towards technology, but it isn't known if that's truly the case.

Story: originally a being called a pawn summoned by some weirdo, saved the world once then wandered about randomly.
convo: "oh hey, i saved the world once..... not all it's cracked up to be huh? no thanks, very little reward, it sucks. my funds are almost out too"
recurring quest: give her some money each time you meet her. starting at 100 then 1000 and finally 10,000 (change however much you want)
reward: some early materials for the point her quests become available or for a discount for the amount you get (ie, get a bit of iron early/cheaper than the store maybe) and the last quest she gives you a staff.
after quest convo: "y'know being an unaging being really sucks. still get hungry and cant just sleep the days away. hope you get some use outta that staff"
i know it's a bit boring. feel free to change it however you want if you ever use her.

Story:She is a indian girl, she protects the Greenwood Village and The Lankyroot Jungle , at first will distrust the players, but little by little will have more confidence and affection to them.
It is said that it used to serve as a goddess but no longer, they had locked in a calavozo where it is from 4 years, has a common toucan called cacao.
she actually lives in The Lankyroot Jungle but can not return because it is locked, the key would be in a chest (a golden key) and after releasing it will ask the players for some food (2 pineapples, a milk and 4 cherries).

Mage Guardian
Name: Infinity Mage Sam (Aka me)
Lv. 50 - 90
I was born with guardian and mage powers so I was self-trained with certain elements and battled unfamiliar gods and monsters. I'm currently trying to find all my past weapons and support with some help from wise people. I'm currently a hidden guardian 'cause if I reveal my true identity, they'll try to kill me, and I'm one of the more powerful guardians in the Greenlands at another world and that's where house lives. I have a hidden magic book that gives me all the black magic and white magic available, with only my magic and it's unlocked. If I'm in battle, I mostly depend on Magic Attack and Defense. I can also use different forms of my elemental self and can sync with my ghost wolf Henry with my Infinity Blade sword, my main weapon. (Once I go to one of my elemental selves I automatically go to Lv. 60.) I have a few final forms that are powerful to use. If I'm finished, I go back to Lv. 50 and go all exhausted trying to sleep.
P.S. This was a lot of fun to make during writing my background story, and I was inspired by me playing an imaginary game and roleplay by my brethren when I was little, I still deeply have this passionately and draw in this way. LOL, I'm mentally disabled.

A witch doctor of sorts that lives alone in her cave with pet spiders and bats to keep her company. She enjoys taking care of the animals around her and would do rituals for their benefits. She isn't a fan of people but if they're friendly enough she wouldn't mind some light chatter. If the stranger is hurt she would do what she can to help them but if they plan to hurt her woodland companions she's more than ready to fight. Her spells include the typical black magic (fire, thunder, water, etc.) along with summoning large spiders and bats to give her time to charge stronger spells.

An adored celebrity from out-of-town who regales the locals with stories of her great and heroic deeds, recounting tales of slain dragons, plundered riches, toppled tyrants and bedded princes (and princesses!). Except it's all bullshit. She was a barista in her hometown, she's never fought a monster in her life, her gold weapons and armor are spray-painted, and her heroic stories are mostly Final Fantasy fanfiction she found online. She's actually deeply stressed and the facade is beginning to slip, especially since she keeps accidentally calling the coffees "phoenix downs".

Half-demon warrior, son of female arch-mage. He lived his young years in little village as a rascal and a farm helper. He begun his journey to find cure for his demonic side and unleash his true potential as a warrior. The thing is he loves his superpowers but they make him become a monster, a rampaging demon. He loves to drink, he loves to fight and with his unnatural agility he likes to climb on high places like roofs or trees. He doesn't kill when it's unnecessary, so he always wields a shield-like mace and a two-handed sword; considering which foe he's facing he chooses which weapon he'll fight with. Because of the fact that he hides his demonic identity, he doesn't often uses his demon powers (he can polimorph and cast fireballs). P.S. I dont care if he's op or not

wood-elf assassin, orphan. She was born in one of wood-elf villages, but one day the village was raided by unknown enemy, leaving her all alone as a kid. The rest of her life she was growing up in a city, but considering her true nature as any wood-elf she just couldn't adapt very easly. Now she's tracking culture of her people and those who destroyed her home and took her family. Her specialty is ranged weapons and she loves using bows, she's unnusually small as a wood-elf or human and she's very sensitive with this subject, she used to be an acrobat. Since almost her entire life she lived on doing kill missions and tracking down people who raided her village, she didn't developed any kind of hobby, but with the newly acquired friends, she starts to "chill" more

human thief, son of Grey Beard, the greatest pirate in the world. He lived his entire life thinking he was an orphan which Grey Beard found and made him his pupil. His mother died shortly after he was born and around when he was 8 Grey Beard also died, making Grey Beard's fleet disband. The last present Kirsan got from his father was his captain's hat and now he keeps it wherever he goes. After funeral of his father, Kirsan stayed in one harbor town, living the rest of his life in the poverty district coz outside seas he didn't have any skill to get any real job, so to survive, he did what he could best....... he robbed people. It became his hobby and his way of living, he even robbed to help other people even though it barely covered him to live in a ruined hause. He wanted to leave this city; travel across the globe to help other people in need and especially because he made a deal with a local bandit group who's now onto him.

human necromancer, son of nobility, who's father was president. He used to live in the same town as Kirsan. His parents were prepareing him to become future president, but he was fascinated by magic and alchemy, so he studied the darkest of arts of magic in secrecy. Because of the horrible ways his father treated other people, he hated him with great passion. Then one day, he was alone with his father arguing. Unfortunately, it led to Aron using his magic on his father, atleast that's what he thought, but that incident was framed by competing family which gave Aron a soul-sucking amulet specially made for his father's soul. Hiding from the entire town which thinks he killed his father, he tries to escape from the town with a help of his lightheaded aunt and group of people he may start to call friends.

He's a lonely guy who hates sunlight and plays RPG games in his dark room , absent from any kind of light except for the monitor flashing . He used bottled darkness once to dye his hair black , but lately its color has turned into dark grey-blue . He likes listening to Taylor Swift and Rush , and longs for the chance of making a satanic ritual with its music , not because it relates to it , but because he thinks it's the mixing of two awesome things .
