Recently finished playing Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and I loved the backgrounds so much that I had to draw some of the trees for practice.Making sure EBF5 has more interesting trees than EBF4. Cause I know that's what the fans want more than any other feature.

As I see you started thinking about EBF5 I have an idea for your games.
Like it Would be cool if the characters could do combined attacks much like the final smash of Robin:

While Matt attack with his sword Natalie cast some thunder spells. And there would some other combination between the characters.
The characters backwards is like Chrom (or someone next to him). There will be a gauge that fills over time (every 10 minutes the gauge is full, for example) or with another ways, to do a combined attack. I also thought of a sentence that Matt would say:"Hey! You almost touch me there!".
I would love to have your opinion on this idea, thank you for reading my sugestion. ^^

have you considered environmental conditions for epic battle fantasy 5? some examples are:
1. it is wet underwater, maximum wetness (can't go berserk)
2. toxic plant poisons everything every turn (optional: except lance)
3. snowstorm cast every turn in winter area
4. burned every turn at volcano
5. more mana spent on spells in desert
6. less mana spent on spells in meadows
7. jungle attracts wasps
8. war zone: missles summoned randomly for random team
as long as there is something missing from a game, a sequel can always have hope. By the way, will the trees become a big part of this game? they look the part of significance. 4 tree types; 4 great elder trees.
you don't need to redo them from scratch in digital art. just photo-copy them and use these drawing in-game. maybe after a little bit of touch-up digitally couldn't hurt more than time.
