I see people online usually just cutting bits and pieces off and layering them, but yours look
too smooth to be cut out!

hehe, No, I draw and painting full CG before cut it out like other. you can look original picture here> [OC] ORANGE!
I think because I use After Effect to add lighting and shake camera slightly, so you can feel more smooth. ^^

and that's a lot of work omg I took a good look again,
I noticed the fading of the lighting and the shake, I didn't even notice
it before!! I love the small creature at the bottom too, the effort you
put in to create these animations stun me aaa hope to see more work of yours soon!! *^*
