I'm sorry its actually terrible for how long it took, more of it so was me not actually animating it everyday, so in total I only spent like, 30 hours or something.

I personally use Adobe Premiere elements 13, which is advanced. If you are beginning i'd recommend just starting off with Windows movie maker [live or not]. >w<

Exactly, thats what its used for. You draw each frame seperately and then from then, correct the timing to make a smooth movement.

Tbh, nobody taught me. I've been learning on my own. Commonly I look at MAPS and other AMVS to get ideas then make something, but I usually reference movements from my cat.
And I use Adobe Premiere elements 13 to edit the frames together and Paint Tool Sai to draw the frames separately.
