Update: 08/01/2009Now Available as a print. Made a few changes to the contrast and the BG, I think it looks a little more complete now.

Ahhh..it's been so difficult for me to draw now. God knows how long I've worked on this, and I've kind of worked on it till I couldn't anymore. It's so sloppy, I can only say I'm sorry for this piece. ;____;
Ahem. Anyway, I've always wanted to try out the sun/moon theme. And the turnout was a work with a sisterly-feel to it. I had fun with their hair.

Thats better than anything I can do on the computer. I have to draw my stuff on paper (I need one of those drawing tablets, but ugh they're expensive. Damn you trees, be glad I'm moving on).

this is so gorgeous; I knew exactly what the theme was, as soon as I saw it, yet it was so subtle it wasn't an overwhelmingly obvious theme. You really have done an amazing job of this composition
Of course, there are a few unfinished bits, as you pointed out, but I have to say, it took me such a long time to notice them, I was so in awe of all the other amazing details and compositional aspects and the colours!

I really can't see this picture as being "sloppy", no matter how hard I try. It's got beautiful brilliant colors instead, and I can see that you know how to ink expressively. Perhaps I would've fixed the Moon's eyes - she looks a bit cross-eyed, I think - but the rest is very well done.
