It's my collaboration with . Once she made a beautiful giftart for me presenting my character Eos [link] and when I saw it I couldn't resist to give it colours. Since Meago gave me her permission I spent those 2 days working on it. *is really addicted to colouring*Of course as usual I concentrated mainly on hair since it's kinda my obssesion..
And I added a lot of things to Meago's original lineart. I hope she won't kill me for that ;;;;Thanks to this I could designed the outfit for Eos.
Ok. Maybe she doesn't really look like a Goddess of Dawn here but I wanted to experiment with some colours, plus I think green suits her hair colour .
I hope you will like it.

The coloured version is very very nice; I get a nice warm feeling from this, and trust me when I tell you... the warm feeling is welcomed, when you consider UK weather, right now...

Sure she looks like the goddess of the dawn. The lightness of her hair at the top of her head helps to express that.

any tips for the hair? everytime i try, i wind up with pixels showing with the 1pixel pencil/brush *sigh*
and if i use soften/smudge it loses the delination definitions

First of all you need to have a lineart in a big resolution (the best is 300 dpi) since it allows to shade more crearly. I use round soft brushes sized 5-9 to make the rough shades and then I make it smooth by shade them again with bigger 12 or even more soft brushes with lower opacity to 15-20%. I don't use the smudge tol at all.
