Alpha Dave in LoHaC ftw~This one was... not as much of a pain in the ass as some pieces have been, but there were a lot of technical problems I was having - thankfully, was there to save the day as always
Mm, done from scratch in Adobe PS CS4 with intuos3 tablet, scaled to 30% of the original size - some detail shots at 100% available here .

I saw the preview of this over on tumblr, and I have to say, it's fantastic. I'd actually been toying with a similar idea to this a month or two back, but the piece I was working on honestly pales in comparison to this!

Good god i dont know how you manage to have the patience to do such beautiful, smooth and blended art works! I'm not that much of a fan of HS (i've been reading the recent updates tho) but this is wicked cool.
