With so many features despite being 3 feet tall: reproduce immediately, exponentially; can run on land or tunnel underground and have a voracious appetite.
And with some good feats of insight and cooperation, the Yautja can see these Shriekers as the next big game animal!

Plus, I think there's a fanfiction of Predators hunting Graboids, but I'm not sure if it's still on Fanfiction.net
