I have always been a Legend of Zelda fan.
The Ocarina of Time is my favorite of the games that I have played. I'll even go and say that it is probably my favorite game of all time in general. It's just too perfect. Especially after they cleaned up the art and such for the Nintendo 3DS release of the game. I remember playing the original release for hours and days at a time at my best friends house on her Nintendo 64. 
That was back when we were in middle school. The Water Temple was always mine to defeat when we played together. 
I love Princess Ruto a lot and always have.
I've wanted to do a digital picture her for awhile now. I'm sure I got a lot of her proportions and shape wrong since her design is unusual and different from what I'm used to. 
Princess Ruto belongs to whoever owns the Legend of Zelda games.

Do you consider her 'fish eyes' to be an actual secondary pair of eyes, or simply as some kind of "organic ornaments"?

I used to consider them to be ornaments. But now that they've cleaned up her look in the 3DS release of Ocarina of Time, compared to the cubic look she had in the original game, they do look more like an extra pair of eyes. So I tried to give them more of an 'eye' look in this picture.
