I found a petition for 2 Stupid Dogs to be released on DVD.Why ever didn't I wish that?
I want it!
2 Stupid Dogs DVD complete set with Super Secret Squirrel!!
How it would be great if there were such thing.
Well, I don't know how effective in signing the petiton.

Nickelodeon also had The Electric Piper and KaBlam! as their personalΒ "Star Wars Holiday Special" as well and CN had Party Wagon,A failed TV Movie Pilot by HA! Creator,Craig Bartlett that was scrapped due to CN's other show, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends premiering later this year.

This really brings back memories. When I first started seeing ads for 2 Stupid Dogs, I thought it looked like a rip-off of Ren and Stimpy. I'm still not convinced Ren and Stimpy wasn't an influence, but 2 Stupid Dogs had a style and charm all its own. It seems like it's somewhat faded into obscurity now, unfortunately, but it's my impression that without that show, we might not have gotten Dexter's Lab or The Powerpuff Girls, etc.; that show kind of signaled a whole new era.

2 Stupid Dogs was famous for starting the Careers of Craig McCracken(The Powerpuff Girls,FHFIF,Wander Over Yonder),Genndy Tartakovsky(Dexter's Laboratory,Samurai Jack,Clone Wars,Hotel Transylvania),and Rob Renzetti(My Life as A Teenage Robot,Gravity Falls) and also Starting the big names of voice acting such as Brad Garrett(A Bug's Life,Ratatouille),Brian Cummings(DuckTales,Several Disney HV Bumpers),and Jess Harnell(Animaniacs,Drawn Together). It's a shame that it never got the chance to get a DVD release from Warner Archive. The popularity of 2SD and Swat Katz and The creation of World Premire Toons led to Turner'sΒ Β becoming a household name and the company was eventually bought by TimeWarner in 1996.

I still love this show. Despite the lankish plots, the characters are memorable. They don't even have names and they are awesome!
And I also adore that music. You don't hear much saxophones in childrens shows.

Great job on the "2 Stupid Dogs," and "Super Secret Squirrel" characters here. I love the gadgety remote coming out of SS's hat, and how crazy Red Riding Hood just stands there looking silly. Hehe you did a good job on all the characters acctually.
