Actually, while I appreciate your comment like you told me, this person is actually based on the mighty Kitsune, and partially based on that one painting of Markiplier as one. The Kimono and face patterns are derived from the Markiplier picture.
The Kitsune is a fox-critter with 9 tails (the word "kitsune" literally means fox, so imagine if we Americans called a magical 18-legged raccoon... well, a Raccoon), imbued with some kind of curse power if you touch his/her tails (if the lore behind Ninetales is any indication), and the Kimono is simply the Japanese equivalent to a fancy tuxedo or dress, though Westernization caught on to Japan as well, so of course they have those two.
