Some of these inspirations should be bigger than others. Some are much more important... Some I just had to acknowledge (even though its embarrassing to say so) because they DID have a large impact on my style. Such as Naruto.

Jef Mallett for instance, who was my neighbor back when I lived in Michigan, was probably the biggest reason I even picked up a pencil when I was a kid. I idolized him like crazy. He was practically a celebrity, what with his published books and growing comic strip in the newspapers. I owe him a lot.

Lisa Frank was also a huge inspiration around this time. A letter of mine, along with a picture, was actually featured in her magazine. I've always been obsessed with bright colors and cute animals because of her. |D This probably opened the floodgates for anime--particularly Poke'mon, CardCaptor Sakura and Sailor Moon.

Yana Toboso. I have *Tamao to thank for this one. If she hadn't introduced me to Kuroshitsuji and compared my style to Toboso, I wouldn't have gotten hooked on her abilities. I'm addicted to her artwork lol.

*kaoru-chan , simply for her amazing traditional capabilities. I hope to reach that level eventually.

My ever hardworking partner in crime, ~mslckitty . She inspires me to work hard!! Even though my life is so full, I don't do much, I always find some way to get something done. (like this damned meme for instance lol)

Ross Campbell, for opening many graphic novel doors and inspiring me to draw lines in between eastern and western style.

Jason Chan, for painting a pathway to one of my dream schools and proving that someone inspired by anime can get somewhere in the world when I was losing faith in my meek abilities.

Some might be confusing, like Johnny Depp, but I think his immortal, pretty face just inspires me to model plenty of my characters after his own creepy, crazy, kooky characters. x) and Lady Gaga had to be in there. I mean come on. She's my monster mama~!!! Her songs and epic fashion sense drive me. and after seeing her live, I couldn't help but continue to worship her by modeling some characters after her personality.
