Description
I produced this specifically for the how-to book 'Draw Manga' by Sweatdrop Studios.It mainly covers character archetypes, and this Magic Student was illustrated with an RPG-style design in mind as a 'Male Child Alternative'.

OMG! A magician! *o* One of my favorite types of people! ^^ I like to draw girl magicians though, I suck at drawing boys. XD Girls are easier to draw for me. XD Anyways, this is so awesome~ *o* It looks so professional and you even used blue (one of my most fave colors)! ^o^ And the spell he is casting is also blue...YAY!

His design puts me in mind that he belongs in Lunar: Silver Star Story for one. Secondly, his uniform looks like the State Alchemist uniform from FullMetal Alchemist, which is not really a bad thing. I think he is very cute and could be a -VERY- likeable character indeed.

XD you always have the best cell-shaded CGs. The lineart is always liek.......SUPER clean XDD..and the cell-shading is AWESOME. I love the concept idea too, great job Wing!!

Pretty cool ^^ I love the hair Wing! The only thing that's narking me a little is the feet, but then again I think that's only because the rest of the image outshines them. The cape especially is lovely but still its the hair that makes the picture for me ^^
