I produced this specifically for the how-to book 'Draw Manga' by Sweatdrop Studios.It mainly covers character archetypes, and this Magic Student was illustrated with an RPG-style design in mind as a 'Male Child Alternative'.

Yeah, it does work.
Infact, his clothing reminds me of Fire Emblem 6/7/8's Sage class. Except he is longsleeved.
