This took me 3 weeks to finish. Now I know why I hardly ever draw detailed pictures. First time making a detailed group picture and I'm happy it's finally complete!'Reverie Chronicle' is an RPG game concept in development. It was an interesting challenge to create the characters as this was my first time designing fantasy RPG style outfits. These are prototype designs and will be reworked over time.
Introducing the characters - On the left is Inku (a lancer), at the back is Kaitos (an assassin), the girl is Inez (a mage), and finally at the front is Alnir (a swordsman).

Well, if you ask me, the costumes are very original. The background is indeed sparkly, but having too much going on (like a big illustrious field of leaves and grass) might take away attention from the characters and also complicate things. In other words I think you did a nice balance of everything. Perhaps blue is better since it is a background color for depth, but I'm not one judge. Overall Great pic!

itz absolutely beautiful!!!!! love the background and the hair!! the only thing that was kinda distracting is the guy all the way in the back( the one that has a complete side view) something looks funny with his eye... but overall... NICEEEEEE PIECE!!!!

Well, I checked out the orange BG version and I have to admit that I like the blue background. It makes the characters stand out more so than the orange.
Heheh, I like Inku. He's adorable!! Love his hair style and color AND his outfit design!! Very very cute!!

hmm you asked if orange is better or the blue. I looked at the orange... I think it looks more vibrant... appeals to me more... depends on what you wanna use it for actually. anyways, the bg design is very nice ^^

um, i like both blue and orange version, but if you're going to put it together with other ppl's work, better go with the orange, it really attracts my attention more compared to the blue one.
