Now presenting my new take on my favorite Beast Wars character, Tarantulas, as he will appear in the Quinteverse!

Name: Tarantulas
Faction: Predacon (Originally), Herald of Unicron (Presently)
Function: Anarchic Science Expert

Allies: Tripredacus Council, Unicron, Heralds of Unicron
Foes: Maximals, Autobots, Decepticons, Predacons, Gobot Guardians and Renegades, Humanity, has a rivalry with Shockwave and has made himself a nemesis to Prowl, the Wreckers, and even the Decepticon Justice Division!
Voice Actor: Alec Willows (I mean, duh)

Alternate Mode:
- Tarantulas transforms into a giant Cybertronian Tarantula with synthetic skin plates that simulate the skin on said spider's Exoskeleton. He can also use Mass Shifting to shrink to the size of a real Tarantula or grow to a maximum height of 30 meters!

- As the inventor of the Transmetal upgrade, he can also enter a Transmetal Transport mode, which is akin to a motorcycle

Weapons:
- Buzzsaw Blaster armed with a Corrosive Quasar Blade and additionally serves as his Transport mode's front wheel

- Shoulder Armor can fire missiles and act as machine gun turrets. His spider legs can also act as machine guns as well and fire beams from his eyes, a trait not unlike Waspinator, Dinobot or Terrorsaur.

- His hands can convert into Cyber Shock Clamps. Originally they were Cybertronian Defibrillators, but Tarantulas copied the blueprints and heavily modified them into Serrated Claws attached to his super-structure that can deliver extreme electrical shocks and be used to reactivate machinery or Cybertronians low on energy or in Stasis Lock. He can also fire beams of electricity from these claws at any opponent.

- Intelligent, Cunning, Sadistic and Knowledgeable

- In Beast Mode he can use his Mass Shifting to make him small or colossal, can try to trample foes with his bladed legs, bite with large serrated chelicerae and fangs, spin stasis webs and enter his Transport mode for a potential getaway.

- His Cybervenom has two different variants: One is a paralyzing and painful type, while the other function adds injecting a probe that attaches to a Cybertronian's Brain Module and grants Tarantulas the ability to use his psychic powers on the victim, puppeteering them into his Madness

- His Super-Structure is also fairly durable, able to take point-blank gunfire and shrug it off during battle.

Bio:
Nobody knows where Tarantulas, nor the Tripredacus Council came from, but they are indeed Predacons, or so it seems. Much later on it is revealed that they are in fact Heralds of Unicron! Tarantulas and the Council had kept up this charade until it was time to reveal their true intentions, much to the fury of Megatron and Predatron, who were even dispatched by the Council's combined form, Tripredacus!

With his Scientific Genius, Tarantulas was responsible for repairing the damaged Spark Chamber of the undead Terrorcon Dark Scorponok and even creating a new body for The Fallen Prime, Megatronus, whos spark was kept in storage by Unicron. He also has extensive knowledge about the Quintessons and mysterious aliens known as the Vok, and the treacherous arachnid aims to destroy them both along with the other Cybertronians who oppose Unicron.

As an Agent of Chaos, Tarantulas is anythings enemy now, from the Autobots, Maximals, Decepticons and Predacons, to even the Gobots and the Quintessons! He was also responsible for giving Generals Ramhorn, Cicadacon and Sea Clamp the modifications necessary for the Tripredacus Council members to combine into the intelligent yet ruthless juggernaut that is Tripredacus!
