Description
So after an Ariel binge, and me actually watching the movie for the first time sine i can't remember this is what I end up with. Doubles as a wallpaper for those with 16:10 ratio.HB mech pencil - 2 hours
Photoshop CS4 - 3-4 hours

I realized after i posted it that the pic was indeed a bit dark so i went back and balanced the colors more and lightened it up a bit.

I sketched out a rough outline with a mech pencil, then scanned it in, "painted" (lol) a black and white layer to get the lighting, then added individual color layers overtop and played with the blending modes till I felt comfortable.

this is beautiful! (ha lame joke, but i mean it ) I'm a Disney nerd too. There's no shame in that ha I really like how you made it your own, as opposed to just copying a scene and the style. It's more art than fanart in my mind.
