I love how the stego looks, reptillian in appearance, yet it holds up to modern science...well done

Thanks for that! Birds are in the reptile clade after all, so I think dinosaurs would have exhibited lots of traits from both classes.

An interesting and original take. More reptilian than I would do, but very nice and original. Good job

Yes indeed, by closely looking at today's birds and reptiles I see no reason why the dinosaurs wouldn't have had all kinds of adornments that weren't preserved. It doesn't make sense that they were just plain and drab looking.

Nobody knows what kind of fleshy adornments dinosaurs might have had. Such features tended not to fossilize. This is pure speculation.

Cool picture, but I can't figure out why it's in the #theropoda group.

Thanks! I don't much like the scrunched-up pose that Stegos are so often depicted with in recent years.

Thank you so much for that! I think the orthodox way of predicting dinosaurs as plain and featureless really needs to be challenged.

WOW, quick response! Thanks....!
This started off as an acrylic painting, then I scanned it and have done most of it in Photoshop.
