im a begginer but sure ill tell u wat i do
1.I have photoshop 7
2.I use the burn tool all the time(can be found on your main toolbar thingy)it's great for shading.
3.Experiment,try different and random buttons and try them out
4.Can't think of anything else so hope that helps
