why would someone make a blood elf demon hunter when they have NE's that are like illidan and the original demon hunters

I think both the Blood Elf and Night Elf demon hunters look really cool Basically it's a horde/ alliance preference! <3

Because Varedis has been the living proof for eight years now that Illidan trained both races after recruiting Kael'Thas and his followers two other games ago. He was even his one lieutenant in charge of training others, so quite skillfull.
Plus, less green and more red will look super cool for this class, just as many NPCs have proven over the last decade.

And of course faction restrictions. That's an MMO before all else, people got friends and guilds, even Horde.

Well its Illdari Faction of Demon Hunters and I do play Horde so I want to make my Demon Hunter a Blood Elf.
