Ah... 1 px, I should remember that... >>;;; Just curious... When you plan to color a picture/lineart, do you color the lineart as well or just leave it black?
P.S. - Your Soft-CG tutorial was helpful too! ^^

This is a lovely tutorial, but you haven't explained some things! Do you taper your lineart after you've finished it? do you resize your lineart before colouring or after?

Um, when you say "third brush type on the brush list" what exactly does that mean? I know the hard brush and the not-hard brush but after that is there another type? I have CS2.

Two questions:
when using the pen tool did you have it so it simulates pressure or so that it give a tappered edge?
and did you use a round brush for both the tablet and pen tool?

OMG! Thanks sooo much! I know how to use the pen tool now! I've been oggling over it for a few months now. T_T
But I have one problem: when I right click away from the line, like you said, it won't allow me to click on the stroke path option.
Do you have any idea why?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Kuurin In reply to Muii-chan [2008-06-10 23:57:22 +0000 UTC]
Make sure you're right-clicking IN the canvas area, it won't work if you right click outside your drawing o3o;; that's all i can think of at the moment that could cause that;;

do you know how to set it so it could be smoother??
thank you so much!!!
if i'm bothering you you can just skip this
thanks!!!

Maybe if you set it to add pressure? it'll be in the stroke path box C:

Ah thank you very much!
It's really nice of you to take your time to help others out. <3 Greatly thankful!
I have a small question! I'm a tablet user but my lineart is a bit shaky so I always use the pen tool (which takes a gazillion years). Is there a way I could use my tablet without making it too shaky?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Kuurin In reply to Lennoue [2008-06-10 21:06:08 +0000 UTC]
No problem! C:
If you have shaky hands, I suggest drawing your lineart with quick smooth strokes. There's always the cance that the fast strokes will go out of place, but that's what the undo button is for! If you try quick strokes, there's less chance of your hand shaking since it'd be a fast movement C:
I hope that helps!
