Description
A close-up of a big withered leaf with a light behind.Post-processing:
Adjusted the wb, lightened a bit, turned up recovery and turned up contrast a bit in camera raw.
Adjusted the contrast with two curves layers, the one with the most contrast changes set to luminosity, and the other set to normal. Turned up the contrast some more with a black and white layer set to soft light (70%).

Very nice! I like the diagonal lines, also the one going from off-focus to focus, to again off-focus (if that makes sense...)
I wonder, what kind of leaf has this type of parallel nervature?

Thank you
To be honest, I have absolutely no idea of what kind of leaf it is
It looks a bit like those tulip leafs, at least more or less the same shape, just bigger.

You're most welcome!
It probably is a monocot-leaf then (the family of the grasses, tulips, etc). I was thinking first of a tree's leaf (but that could only be ginkgo, and that isn't it..) Thanks anyway!
