Taken the same day as Embracing light [link]It was really cold that day, and frost on the ground, and then the sun came and some kind of fog rised up from the ground!

Seems like a lot of people find this picture "scary". I still find it calm, probably because it was such a calm and silent wonderful day when I took the picture

Yes, sometimes it's hard to portray what you felt into the photo, so other people feel it too. I guess it's the dark sky and white fog that makes it feel scary...

When I look at this, I dont think silence was a completely appropriate title, but as for that, I can't think of anything better at the moment

I disagree. I like the dull space at the top. It really adds to the extent of solitary of the house. To me, the lighting is really ominous in this setting because the air is thick and the sky so dark. Great capture!
