This piece is a 5" x 7" done on Arches watercolor paper and is perhaps the last thing I'll attempt to draw on that paper! As you can see the color doesn't adhere to the paper very well and leaves white spots or comes off completely when you brush the dust off so I won't be purchasing any more of it even though I really like the texture of it.I got the idea to do this type of frog awhile back and when I saw Brads great photo of one I just knew that I had to try and draw him. [link] As you can see his picture is wonderful
I don't know if I've done it justice or not?

Yes they're so colorful... I enjoyed doing this one but I'll be doing another one to try a differnet paper

Wow! Love the bright colors, a magnificent job I say regardless of problems with the paper.
It's probably caused by the sizing of the paper, you can try soaking it in water for a couple of minutes then let it dry, or you could try a watercolor pencil for underpainting to get rid of the white specs.
